Meet Jill

Constitutional principles guide my policy. A commitment to limited government and solid confidence in personal responsibility and the free market is what I offer you as your Republican representative in the Arizona State House of Representatives for Legislative District 18.

Hello, I am honored to represent the constituents in District 18. While walking the precincts for the last 12 months, I have talked with and listened to the voters’ concerns and issues. The number one concern is job retention and creation. As an engineer currently working in a high technology industry, I will be able to articulate the talents and strengths of Arizonans to retain and attract high technology jobs. In the past several years, too many jobs in the aerospace and defense have moved out of Arizona, and I shall focus on increasing commerce in our great state.

Professionally, I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering Management and a Masters in Business Administration, have been a Vice President of a major Aerospace/Defense company, and am currently a small business owner. As in business, having the skills to manage, motivate and lead resourceful, productive teams will be the key to success in our State Legislature as we move toward greater prosperity.

Personally, I have been happily married to my husband, Clark, for 30 years. We have three adult children, all college graduates. Education is a priority in our household and in our state. We have worked with our local teachers and administration to craft curriculum specific to our children’s needs so that their individual strengths are realized. I trust our Arizona teachers and staff to govern, oversee and teach our children, and am confident by working together we can make Arizona an academic powerhouse.

Politically, constitutional principles are my guide. I was privileged to attend a Naturalization ceremony for one of my friends. 197 candidates from 54 countries became American citizens. When they recited the “Oath of Allegiance”, I was reminded of the freedoms and liberties that we have in the United States, and we need to fight to protect those privileges.

I ask for your prayers and support to continue our progress at the Arizona House of Representatives.
